Like every year, more than 200 people, including the current 47th Royal Marine Commando, walk in the footsteps of the men of the same commando who landed in 1944 in Normandie, commemorating the journey of this British army unit. Starting the march from Gold beach, near Asnelles, to Port-en-Bessin, passing by the abbey for a giant picnic on June 6, 2024.
